Phones, Tablets, Phablets, T.Vs, and Smart Watches
Android: Android Marshmallow will be released to more devices OTA as well as newer phones will begin selling with Marshmallow as its OS. Apple: Only at the top of the list because it's in alphabetical order, there's a good chance that the iPhone 7 series will be released late 2016. If not, development releases will be available and official release would be in 2017. Apps: Many apps will be updated to a newer version that is compatible with Android Marshmallow, as well as for iPhone with its Force Touch feature. HTC: The HTC One M9 has been released already, but not Android Marshmallow for it. In Canada, there will be an update available sometime next year. LG: The LG G5 phone has been presented to be LG's flagship phone for 2016, it has been said to be 5.6 inches, has a camera of 21MP. It should have 2k resolution and run a Snapdragon 820 processor. It has been also said to have 2 different bio-metric systems: A fingerprint scanner as well as an iris scanner. There are also high chances of a slim metal body rather than plastic, like the LG V10. Expect to see this phone be released around February or March. Samsung: The Samsung Galaxy S7 is to be Samsung's flagship phone for 2016. Already, the S7 will have the missing microSD feature that was not on the S6. The S7 will be 5.2 inches, as to the S7 Edge which has 5.7 inches with curves on the top and bottom of the phone. Additionally, there has been rumors for a S7 Plus phablet that has a display of 6 inches. A long with newer, brighter features, the S7 has been rumored to have it's Snapdragon 820 processor be overclocked in order to run really fast. But, that brings up the issue of overheating, in which if rumors are true, the phone will use a liquid cooling system. With more and more coming for the Samsung S7, the Duo Pixel has been mentioned to be used with the smartphone and no one quite knows what it's actual features are, I think that it could be that the front and back facing cameras will have the abilities to have the same abilities to take the same qualities. The Samsung A series have been announced to be released in China by the end of this month, and are to be released elsewhere in the beginning of 2016. The A7 packs a 5.5 inch 1080p display with a 13MP rear camera, and 5MP front camera, octa-core processor, 3300mAh fast charging battery, 3GB of Ram, 16GB of expandable storage and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. The A5 contains a 5.2 inch screen, 2900mAh battery, and 2GB of RAM. The A3 has an even smaller screen with 4.7 inches, 720p, quad-core chip, 1.5GB of RAM, 2300mAh battery, and all three phones contain support for Samsung Pay. IN OTHER NEWS, if you are reading in Europe and waiting for the Galaxy Note 5, then here's the chance! It has been rumored to be released in either January or February of next year! Smartwatches: Smartwatches have increasingly become popular this year and make sure to look out for great deals. Essentially, smartwatches are computers on our wrists. With technology today, there will be some great ideas that will be presented in the smartwatch competition as well as some other areas. THERE ARE MUCH MORE PHONES THAT ARE TO BE RELEASED NEXT YEAR, BUT THERE'S NOT ENOUGH TIME FOR ME TO WRITE ABOUT THEM ALL! PLEASE COMMENT DOWN WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR ABOUT SO I KNOW WHAT CONTENT YOU GUYS WANT!! Scientific Technology
This is one section I cannot really tell you guys what to expect, only because many scientific technological announcements or breakthroughs are so spontaneous. This can also be applied to tech companies because of marketing strategies. People and Companies
Elon Musk: We all can assume that he will create much more ideas that could be taken into actual consideration in order to improve the world, but we can only wait. Just make sure you make your New Year's Resolutions, not drop them, and embrace the next year of great advancements! Alright, first thing's first is that I will be focused towards school as usual, but I will try to post more next year. I have one that I've semi-procrastinated on ever since October and I need to get that done. Next, I will be uploading a ton more videos on YouTube especially on my AI series and a lot more video games. On my second channel, I'll definitely be uploading more music and content on that. 12/5/2015 0 Comments This is RealityOk, already thinking about this before, but not actually thinking about to write a post about it, I had a homework assignment from English class to watch a video titled "This is Water" on YouTube and decided to write something about it. The video, which I have put below this post, is an excerpt from David Wallace's "This is Water" speech. So, today is October 31st , 2016, exactly one year after I started writing this blog, but never finishrd. Thanks to Brennan, who told me about an English video he had to watch, which was This is Water. And now, I've decided to finish writing this post. So, now that I have started making vlogs and expressing a lot of my opinions, I recently talked about This is Water coincidentally two days ago on a vlog, which then brought me to create a way for me to end my vlogs (might change to intro). But, I first recommend you to watch this video first, then come back. But if you're thinking TL;DW (Too long, don't watch), then in short it is asking you to realize that there is something larger than you, bigger than you. And that something is everything outside of your little bubble of life. Since I have already said this is a vlog, I recommend you just watch the vlog because I go over it much more in depth. Create a schedule for studying times, rather than studying at random times 2. Study for around 25 minutes, then take a break for 5 minutes. You don't want to flood yourself with studying. 3. Color code all your notes, it helps keep you organized and a change in color can actually refresh your brain and you won't get as tired as often. 4. Don't stay up studying! The more you get tired, the less you'll focus and the more you'll forget. And staying up is bad. 5. Don't cram with studying, you'll mix up concepts and study over time, it helps with memorization. 6. Get in a study group! It helps with memorization and sharing ideas. 7. Draw, map, and create fun ways to memorize things, it helps with easily memorizing things. 8. Study subjects every hour or two so you don't get bored with the same subject. It helps keep your brain active and prevents loss of memorization. 9. Study key information right before you go to sleep, your brain will store this information for long term usage. 10. Don't stress, as long as you study well, you can enjoy the days before and possibly during Finals! Extras: 1. To prepare, you can use notecards, ask people to quiz you, and study previous tests and quizzes! 2. While you test, skim over it to see how long you should spend on each question, eliminate answers, double check your answers if you have time, use context to help understand the question, skip the questions you think are difficult and come back to them later. Just don't forget you skipped them. 3. Go to tutoring or the Internet if you don't understand something! Hacks: 1. You may have heard that chewing gum while studying and then taking the test for the same subject will help you remember things more easily, which works, but if you want something that takes less effort, spray perfume or use flavored chap stick during studying and testing! 2. DRINK WATER, not only is it a necessity, but if you drink less water, you'll start to make up things you never studied. 3. Wear comfortable clothes, not clothes that are fashionable (unless they're comfortable), you want to stay focused test! 4. In math, forget what formula to use? Use the givens and if there's something that's missing, it's either the answer or it's not the right formula. And wonder why teachers taught you how to solve things the long way? It's so you understand it and get why a certain formula is used. Links and Videos: Math
10/11/2015 0 Comments Small Update + Theory OneSo, something I forgot to say in my intro, my posts will not be scheduled, they will come as I finish writing them. Now for my first theory involving the future: The future is going to be a great place with mankind learning, exploring, and creating many possibilities for their own futures. Among creating possibilities, is the advancement of technology and making it help ease our workforce and enabling us to do what we want to do, rather than work. And here's where my theory comes into place: As what I have already seen in kids today, they already have their own tablet, their own phone, or they constantly borrow their parents phones for YouTube or Angry Birds. It's great that technology has enabled this for us today, but with Angry Birds and YouTube, kids don't go outside anymore. Yeah, true I don't go outside as often because I have a computer to play with and my friends play with me. But if this keeps up, what would my future be?(I'm participating in school activities). That's not the point. In the past, before I was born, kids went outside to play and have fun. The next generation, mine had Gameboys and Nintendo DSs. Now, they have phones and better computers. I follow up on the latest technology news, and companies are coming up with great ideas, which can be foreseen for the future. But the point is, how will possibly our children act and perform in public / social events? I'm not saying that all kids would be like this, because there are some prefect angels out there. So, with all this technology many kids will just keep wanting that tech and not know how it feels to not have anything to play with other than friends. In other words, they might become impatient when they want something, or they might not know what to do when they don't have technology. I'm not saying that when you have kids you should take away their electronics because I wouldn't want mine to be taken away, but limit them. The way I limit myself is that when at school or outside of home in public situations, I'll most of the time keep my phone off, or try to at least. There are a lot of other outcomes like kids using apps to create amazing imaginative products and using technology as benefit, but the goodness is evened out by the outcomes, such as the personalities of being impatient. That's my opinion on the effect of future technology on kids and their development, comment your opinion down below! I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination. |
